FAQ

These answers address the most common questions we receive.

Payments

  1. What types of payment do you accept? We accept cash, check, credit card, Zelle, and Venmo.
  2. When is payment due? Unless otherwise agreed to in writing, payment is due immediately upon completion of work.

Chemicals

  1. Do you use chemicals when cleaning my property? Depending on the job, we use a combination of chemicals to safely clean your property. We use Sodium Hypochlorite (bleach) and a surfactant to help the SH stay on the surface long enough to kill algae and other organics. Once we apply the mixture we allow time for the chemicals to get to work. This is called “dwell time” and differs depending on what’s needed to clean the surface. We may also use degreasers and other specialty chemicals to remove stains like oil, grease, and rust.
  2. How do you protect my property when using chemicals? Prior to cleaning your property, we wet any potential affected areas to ensure the chemical mixture does not create any damage. We also work to protect plants and electronics, such as cameras and smart doorbells, during cleanings. Depending on the project, we either work around these items or place them in a protective cover.

Preparing for Cleaning

  1. Do I need to be present while my home is being cleaned? While it is not necessary, we prefer to have someone on site to go through the walk-through and to confirm the work meets your satisfaction. If you do not anticipate being on site, we can arrange to do a video conference call before and after completing work. Payment arrangements must be agreed upon prior to work commencing.
  2. How long will it take to clean my home? This depends on the size of your home, cleaning difficulty, and the amount of prep work that needs to be done. In general, a four car driveway, sidewalk, and front patio cleaning will take about an hour and a half. A typical house cleaning, without any concrete cleaning, takes two hours to complete.
  3. Will you use my water to clean my home? Yes, we will need access to water on your property. We will hook up to your outside water spigot to keep our systems running.
  4. Why do you not bring water to the job? Carrying water comes with significant costs in transportation and safety. In addition, we would not be able to carry enough water to properly finish the job. In certain circumstances, we are able to negotiate transporting water to a commercial job, which will add additional costs to your project.

Additional Services

  1. Do you clean the interior of homes? We do clean interior windows and frames. However, we do not offer general interior cleaning services at this time.
  2. Do you provide any repair, lawn care, or construction services? We do not provide those services, but we are happy to recommend trusted partners who can work with you to meet your specific goals.

Competition

  1. There is a guy who is offering to clean my driveway for $99. Why are you more expensive? The exterior cleaning industry is very competitive! We respect that companies which offer those low prices are often trying to get into the market. As full-time cleaners, we believe in the value that we provide our customers and feel that when a customer factors in our expertise and quality, our prices are very competitive with other cleaners. Our prices also factor in proper insurance and taxes.
